So where does the term Voxel come from?

    and according to the wikipedia page, a voxel is a "volume element, representing a value on a regular grid in three dimensional space."
    and hopefully thats correct

  2. pshhh Jeffrey I can't believe you had to look that up! I believe any other student looking at that would not really know what you meant. As a pixel is to 2d a voxel is to 3d... and I should have checked my mail sooner...

  4. I recall when Commane and Conquer: Tiberian Sun came out way back when, they were pimping the new "voxel technology". It was very exciting! =D Seems I am about 4 or 5 years too late to get any extra credit though...
