My favorite painting


Here is my favorite Painting. It is "Improvisation 31, Sea Battle" by Vasily Kandinsky.
I love it because every time I see it, I see something new. What are your favorites?

    Michelangelo's work in the Sistine Chapel. I've always loved the story based art you see in churches. I'm a comic book nut so I guess it makes sense. Here's a link to the site where you can view it without having to fly anywhere:

    I can't imagine actually having to paint that. I have to see the whole thing at once or I lose any reference for proportions. How did he do this? Phenomenal work.
