    even though I think underwater and sea horses when I see this It's still fantastic and I love how your brush strokes make it look like rock.

    The rocks look so real, I feel like I swam into dangerous territory and I don't think i want to meet the owners of those eyes.

    Really nice palette and soft shading. I know its more of a landscape study than anything else but some variation in scale and a more pronounced focal point maybe?

    Yeah, I noticed that too, as I was drawing it. There isn't really anyway to know if the whole thing is the size of your thumb, or as tall as mountains. But I'm trying not to go back to them and be all perfectionist. I'll fail soon, though.

    I've been trying to play with the scale more in other pictures.

    This almost looks like a photograph, everything looks so real. You did a really good job with all of this, the shading is fantastic.
